The importance of writing down your personal goals
Within the field of personal and professional development, there are more and more disciplines that emphasize the importance of the preview of goals to achieve them.
Perhaps a lot of resolutions were made, several surely repeated from other years, some of which have already started to be worked on and others that will surely be postponed until they are forgotten. Many times we let the daily occupation with our jobs, laziness or a lot of external agents and excuses keep us from what we want to achieve.
The problem to achieve our purposes is not others, laziness, or aversion to difficulties or efforts. The problem lies in not writing down our resolutions and not having a periodic process, quarterly if possible, to follow up on their progress.
That is why the simple action of writing on a piece of paper about different aspects of your life as a title and assigning it a particular objective helps more than you can imagine.
For example
Health: I want to lose x kg and quit smoking.
Work: I want to increase my number of clients by 50%
Love: Taking care of my family.
Compassion: help malnourished children by contributing x amount of money per month.
Finally, I write what will be the most important objective, the one that I will give everything to make it happen. For example, buy my first car.
After writing it, place it in a place where you can see it. You can also take a photo of it and put it in your favorite photos with a monthly or quarterly reminder in the calendar to see how you are developing it.
Let's do it!
