Passion as a fuel

Passion is not just an emotion, it is the energy that moves us, the fuel that ignites our will and drives us to move forward, even when circumstances seem difficult. It is that internal spark that makes us feel alive, that transforms the most difficult hours into moments of learning and growth.

When we are passionate about something, whether it is a project, a cause, an art, or a personal goal, we connect with our purpose. Passion knows no obstacles or limits. It challenges us to be better, to go beyond what we thought possible. It is that impulse that makes us get up every morning with determination, that fire that does not go out.

In the second chapter of my book in which I talk about passion, I relive a stage of my life full of profound lessons. It was a phase of competition, dedication, passion and mediation. My school, through its sports, refined my sportsmanship and transformed my mindset into a competitive mindset. Every training session, every game, taught me that true victory is not only in winning, but in surrendering to the process, in fighting with integrity and passion. The adrenaline of working toward one's goals with a focused vision is something I still feel, whether on a playground or in a conference room. Passion became the fuel that fueled every effort and every challenge, leading me to surpass my own limits and embrace every lesson that life offered me.

No matter how big the dream is or how far away the goal seems, when we have passion, we are able to travel the path with perseverance. Passion doesn't guarantee that everything will be easy, but it does ensure that every effort is worth it.

Meditation to connect with your passion

I invite you to reflect on what you are truly passionate about. What would you do even if you weren't paid for it? What fills you with energy and enthusiasm? I share with you this exercise to discover or reinforce what motivates you deeply:

  • Sit in a quiet place and close your eyes.

  • Take deep breaths: inhale for a count of 4, hold the breath for 4 seconds and exhale for 6.

  • Visualize a moment in your life when you felt intense passion or great joy.

  • What were you doing? What emotions were present? Who was with you, or were you alone?

  • Keep that image and emotion in your mind. Ask yourself: How can I bring more of this energy into my daily life?

  • Mentally repeat statements like: "I am capable of living my passion fully" - "My goals are aligned with my heart." - "I appreciate the opportunity to continue cultivating this passion."

  • When you finish, you can write your feelings and reflections.

Find that inner flame and use it as fuel to propel your life towards success, happiness and well-being. Passion is the most powerful engine we have. Let's make the most of it.
